Meet the F2P Team

Dr. erin Adams pt, DPT, CMTPT

Founder | Doctor of Physical Therapy | Certified Dry Needling Specialist

Dr. Erin Adams is the founder of Fit2Perform and a performance-driven physical therapist with over 14 years of experience helping athletes and active individuals recover stronger, move better, and perform at their highest level. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Ithaca College in 2011.

Early in her career, Erin worked as a traveling physical therapist gaining broad clinical experience in a variety of settings. It was in these diverse environments that she honed her ability to adapt, problem-solve, and deliver high-level care to clients with complex needs. She quickly developed a specialty in working with performance athletes ranging from recreational to elite, which remains a cornerstone of her practice.

Erin is a Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist (CMTPT) and has specialized in dry needling since 2016. This advanced technique has become central to her approach, offering powerful results in neuromuscular re-education, pain modulation, and recovery optimization.

Her treatment philosophy is rooted in evidence-based practice and whole-body performance. She blends detailed movement analysis, targeted manual therapy, and progressive strength-based rehabilitation to create highly individualized plans. Whether you're recovering from injury, transitioning back to sport, or optimizing function for everyday performance, Erin brings the same high standard of precision and accountability to every session.

Erin is especially attuned to the emotional and psychological challenges that accompany physical setbacks. After sustaining a traumatic knee injury herself in 2017 she underwent two reconstructive surgeries. This experience deepened her empathy and insight, reinforcing her mission to support clients through every phase of recovery both physically and mentally.

Driven by outcomes and built on trust, Erin’s work reflects the next generation of physical therapy: smart, strategic, and performance-focused.
